About Me

Christy smiling in in front of a bookcase.

I have been an Interpreter at RIT since September 2010, where I worked with the Business, Computers, and CAST Core Team till December 2017, when I transferred to the Science and Health Sciences Core Team.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Idaho State University's Educational Interpreting program in 2004, after which I spent six years interpreting in a small Idaho town working in the K-12 environment before coming to RIT. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, which I earned in 2002.

In the past, I have served as a Core Team representative with the Professional Development Committee, I regularly teach an ePortfolio development PDC to my coworkers, and I serve my department as a Biomechanics Evaluator. In my spare time, I occasionally attempt to pursue a life.
